Tyler Portman

Tyler Portman serves as GM Properties’ Vice President, Brokerage responsible for brokerage services for both leasing and sales in Los Angeles and Orange County. Tyler joined GM Properties in 2011.

He began his career in real estate as an intern for GM Properties during his college years and quickly realized his passion for the industry. Tyler’s success in commercial real estate can be attributed to his unwavering dedication to his clients and his ability to think creatively and strategically. He understands that the needs of every client are unique, so he works tirelessly to provide personalized solutions that meet their specific goals.

Throughout his career, Tyler has represented a wide range of clients including investors, developers, and property owners. He has worked on a variety of commercial real estate projects including retail, office, industrial, and land. Tyler’s knowledge and expertise in the industry have allowed him to provide his clients with strategic and innovative solutions to their real estate needs. To date, Tyler has closed nearly $100 million in total deal volume and is a six-time Century Club member at GM Properties.

Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Whittier College. He lives in Orange County with his wife and three children. In his free time, Tyler enjoys photography, bike riding, and woodworking.
